The information I have on CA Piner puts the family arriving at the Lassen Ranch in Northern California. My great grandmother was a Piner. There are still several Piners in the Napa, Calif where I grew up.
Do you have any information on one of the Piners marrying an American Indian? We have several stories but no proof. Stories even to the effect that my Great Grandmother Piner was a half breed.
I am anxious to learn more about my ancestory.
