Perhaps I can help a little here. I have a printout provided by Tulocay Cemetery in Napa of all PINERís buried there. It shows a Charles d 4/16/64; Elva d 5/3/42; Elizabeth died 1/25/46; John d 11/3/32; and WENDELL C. SR. Died 1/9/52 (born 9/15/1892). I can remember my mother talking about her " 1st cousin Wendell" but donít know that she ever mentioned who his father was. Also - the cousin Wendell she referred to was probably the son of the Wendell who died in 1952. (If he was actually her 1st cousin, he would have had to be the son of CHARLES, brother of our Edna ) Ted - I would think you mother might be able to help on that??? From my childhood in Napa, I remember the Piner Ambulance Service. I was told that it sold out when the family moved to Sonoma County but I do know that the business is still in operation under that name in Napa.
I hope some of this helps and doesnít just muddy the waters.
