Hi Chris,
No leads on Stephen or Sarah Hendrick Piner's parents. Haven't had any luck in finding those names.
Sarah is buried in Kelseyville, Lake, CA. She died Aug. 6, 1868.
I haven't been able to locate second wife, Miriam's maiden name - even though have really tried. I do know that she was married to a LEACH prior to marrying Stephen. She had one son, John A. LEACH. Yakima Herald newspaper states Stephen died at home of his stepson, John A. LEACH, April 19, 1889.
I found Miriam and son, John, in 1850 Sullivan Co., MO. They were living in household of John W. STANLEY, age 26, b. KY and wife Casenden (sp) b. MO.
I believe there is a connection between Miriam and the Stanleys but have not found it.
Miriam's son, John, married and had several children. I have been able to find them in censuses.
