I continue to pursue the parents of Stephen PINER born 1801 somewhere in VA. In addition, parents needed for his wife, Sarah H. HENDRICK(S) born Feb. 4, 1799 VA. After years of research, along with other researchers, further information on the above has remained elusive. Cannot even locate a county. Both died in California, however, deathplace and burial for Stephen is unknown.
In researching Piner surname, I located a William E. PINER, age 45, Farmer, born KY in the 1880 census for Kenton Co., KY. His father was born VA, mother born MD. Is there a possible connection to Stephen? I'm willing to look anywhere.

John C. Piner, Son, age 3, b. KY
Harley E. Piner, Son, age 1M, b. KY
Does anyone know anything about this KY family?
