I found your data interesting in that your subjects had a son named George Washington PINER and in my PINER ancestry are two George Washington PINERS, descendants of Stephen PINER b. 1801 in VA. The coincidence of the name George Washington might lead one to believe that this was a name used in the larger family and often repeated. Therefore, there is a "possibility" of a connection between our families.

I cannot offer you any specific information in answer to your query, however, I will keep your data in my file for future reference.

By the way, in searching land records on the BLM site, I found a George W. PINER listed in Dale Co., Alabama 1858. More possibilities?
