Hi Chris,
I just responded to Phillis's post with details about our common ancestor, Demetrio Pineda. My husband's records show Demetrio's father as Pedro Pineda, married to Sylvestra Vasquez. This information is from an interview with my husband's aunt, and from Antonio Pineda.
Sorry we don't have more information. We don't have knowledge of Demetrio's siblings, but it looks like Nicanor could be a brother. If this is so, you and my husband are cousins.
