I'm also trying to find out more about my Pineda ancestors. Most of the Pinedas live in Laredo, Texas and I believe my grandfather was from Zacatecas.
I;m especially interested in learning about any possible Sephardic jewish connection. I know there were many converso families in south Texas and northern Mexico as well as New Mexico where I know there are several Pinedas.
Anybody got a clue?
