Kaye, I don't have anything on a John Elbert. The line of descendancy that I have for Gilbert Pine and Sarah 'Sally' Baggs ends with their children.

My information on their children comes from the 1850 census. It declares that Gilbert and Sarah/Sally had at least eight children: James b. 1831/32, William b. 1833/34, Henry b. 1836/37, George b. 1838/39, Margaret b. 1840/41, Benjamin b. 1842/43, John b. 1844/45, and Mary b. 1846/47.
