Pinders from Lincs (possibly gainsborough)

Hi, I'm hoping someone will be able to help. I am trying to trace my grandmother's paternal line but am stuck at my great-grandfather (and because of family situation am reliant on the internet for research). I have found my great-grandmother (his wife) - Annie Louise Green, but can find no definite record of him on census records or certificates. His name is Leonard John (or may be John Leonard) Pinder. I believe he would have been late teens/early 20's in the 1901 census. My grandmother also mentioned an uncle name Pogson Pinder (possibly my ggrandfather brother). I believe they originated in the Gainsborough area, but my ggparents later moved to Yorkshire (Rotherham then later Shipley/Bradford Area). Any help gratefully received. Melissa
