This does not help you at the moment except to point away from the C of E perhaps, but it might do so one day.

Transcription of the Pincott records for between the years 1782 and 1798 inclusive of the France Lynch Meeting House, Bisley which is near Chalford GLS.

"Sarah the Daughter of Thomas Pincott and Elizabeth his Wife of the Parish of Bisley in the County of Gloucester was born on the 17th Day of August 1787, and baptized on the 26th Day of August 1787 by Thos Jones"

"Thomas Pincott of the parish of Bisley in the County of Gloucester aged 37 years was buried in the burying ground belonging to France Meeting House on the 3rd Day of September 1790 and registered by Thos Jones"

There are no Pincott births in the Bisley parish church registers for 1809/10/11/12 so perhaps the family was of a non-conformist persuasion.

Sorry I could not help more.

Geoff
