Just wondered if you got any info yet about Cotesworth? I have been reading a book "the History of the Pinckney Name.' It is in print on John Pinckneys web site. I read in there how the Cotesworth name was either a name of property that a Pinckney lived on or was a maiden name. I just don't remember for sure and as I was looking for other names, and I just skimmed over it. But, I do know, it is and "old world" English name; generally attached to Charles. Also, I have found that brothers, cousins and uncles all used "Charles Cotesworth" Pinckney. I had quite a time getting them all into the correct family. Hope I didn't confuse you.
