Cecil Francis PINCHESS

My grandfather Cecil Francis PINCHESS was born in Kingswood near Bristol in 1895 to Frederick and Emma PINCHESS formerley FOSTER. I believe Cecil may have had siblings, one of which may have been called Fred. Cecil went on to marry Ethel Mary WEALE, but not before fathering my Great Aunt by another young lady! The child was brought up in a convent in Leicester somewhere from what I have been told, and I do not know what happened to the girl in question - skeletons and closets!

Frederick Snr was a Journeyman Bootmaker. I am having trouble locating him on any census - probably because of a mis-spelling. For this reason, this is as far as I have been able to get with my PINCHESS line.

Family lore has it that our PINCHESS' may have been from around Leicester and Bristol, although this leaves a very big area to search in ie: Shropshire, Warwickshire, Cheshire, Gloucestershire, Staffordshire!

Looking forward to any replies!
