Are you still researching PILSON? I believe the father of Samuel A. who was born in 1846 was William Pilson who died 10 Oct 1850. William was married to Eliza McCardle. Their children were possibly Emily A., Samuel A. (who married Mary Jane Hallowell), William J. & Lucretia L. Pilson. I believe the cemetery you mention is Walnut Grove located in Franklin Co, IL. I would appreciate any info you might have.
