Thank you so much for your information! Are you closely related to this line? Just wondering how we might be connected.

I will see what else I can learn from here, but this is wonderful--a lot more than I knew before today. Amazing!

I have seen the various spellings for Henault and the "dit" names which do add to the confusion of trying to sort out all of this. I have been looking at some maps to learn where these areas are and saw that Beauharnois is in the same area. I think my grandmother's family was in that region at one time.

All of the information I would have in my records is from Joseph and Patience Henault forward, but if you any of this would interest you, I am happy to share what I have.
