Thanks again, Evelyn. Robert Pilon, above, was able to pull a lineage for Celina and Philias, all the way back to Normandie, FR, in the 16th century. However, I still have many additional questions about Celina and Philias, as the few below might indicate. 1. Legend has it that Philias died of the Spanish Flu, in late 1918 or early 1919. Do your sources indicate when, where and how he died or where he was buried. These answers may also indicate where they were living at the time, i.e. in Grenville, QC or perhaps Montreal, QC (where they were married). 2. Was my mother Violet (Minnie) Pilon (1919-1997) the only offspring of Philias and Celina? If they were married in 1912, 6 or so years before he died, there was time for other children, but I have had no indication of any. 3. I lived with Celina in Grenville, QC, periodically, when I was growing up, in the interval 1948-1958, after her second husband Willie Murray died in 1945. She told me I was part Algonquin, presumably because she or Philias had some native ancestry. Do you have any idea where that link would be? Notify Administrator about this message?
