I'm not sure if its the same, but I have a Fred Pillsbury in my tree who was born and lived in Vermont 1876 to ?
He was also known as Henry Frederick Pillsbury who was the son of Henry Frederick Pillsbury...confusing ain't it?
Anyway, Fred ran some sort of lumber company and mill in Vermont....Does this Fred have any connection to yours? The only other names I have for Pillsburys are Rebecca Pillsbury (I don't know what her maiden name is or who she married but I saw a picture of her when I was a kid and she looked like an Indian squaw) and My great, great grandmother: Adelia Pillsbury Ellis who was married to Reuben Ellis in the early to mid 1800's...So, If you or anyone has some more info, would you share that with me?
