This part of the Baber family was from Buckingham/Albemarle Co. Some moved to Chesterfield, Richmond and from there to many places.
The 1880 census showed Edward A. Pillow and his family living in Petersburg, VA. They apparently lived there for many years. Edward A. Pillow and some of his ancestors were surveyors.
I do not have information on the death of Edward A. Pillow or of his wife Mary T. nee Winfrey.
