My allen linage moved to Madison Co. Iowa in the early 1850's. Whitley Allen was I believe the son of Wiliam Allen that I follow back to Kentucky in the later part of 1700. There arears to have been several marriages and Juda, one of Whiley's wives may have had a relationship to the Pillows. I presently have no real solid evidence of that relationship and have just recently ran across it. I am a great,graet grandson of James M. Allen and Leah Pessinger. My grandfather Frank Allen became a lineman when electrification moved into the midwest and finally settled in Bloomington, Illinois. There e married into the Hoselton familythat cme west from South eastern Pennsylvina. If you think there may a connection I will be happy to share what information I have.
