I see that your message was posted in 1998. If you are still checking it, here is info. regarding James Pillars and Mary (Hughs) Pillars parents of Richard and John Pillars. Also they are the parents of Mary Pillers who married Archibald T. Ireland in Randolph County, Illinois, on July 14, 1842. These people are also my ancestors.
