Mrs. Walter Pilkington
I am seeking information about a Mrs. Walter Pilkington who in the mid 1920's to mid 1930's resided at 560 John Street North in Hamilton Ontario. She was a widow who lived alone.According to a neighbour who has lived nearby since the 20's, Mrs. Pilkington moved away but she does not know where. Her husband Pte. Walter Pilkington is buried at Hamilton Cemetery. He was a member of the Canadian Expeditionary Forces and was killed overseas. The date of death on his WWI marker is December 2, 1925. He was born in 1866.
My second cousin came on a boat from England to live with Mrs. Pilkington in 1926 while her husband-to-be was finishing up his university courses. The family is interested in finding out whatever became of Mrs. P.She went by the nickname "Nana", and she may have been originally from England but we are not sure.
