I have a Thomas Jefferson Pilkington b. 1861 in Alabama who married a Margarette Messemore in 1879 in St. Clair County, Alabama.

Also a William Pilkington b. 1830 in Tennessee who married Sarah Messemore in 1859 also in St. Clair County.

I know it's a stretch between Messinger to Messemore, but stranger things have happened.
