My Father said he was born in R.I. 1874 (no proof) he also has said to be born in England, Listed in 1880 census Cranston R.I in a place for homeless children. I have no information at all on Parents names. He said his Mother and a Uncle put him there and never came back. Served in Spanish Amer. war. Mar.Ellen Ahlstrom 1905, came to Calif. 1909. I sure could use some help on this. His name is James Herbert Pilkerton. B-Jul 1 1874 D-Jul. 17 1934 in Ca. Thanks Much
