How accurate is "The Descendants of Thomas Lamkin..."?

I've discovered a lot of references to "The Descendants of Robert Lamkin of the Northern Neck of Virginia". by Harold E. Wilkins. If they are accurate, then I'm a descendent of Stephen Hokins and Giles Hopkins through a long line of Lamkins. Does anyone know how accurate and how accepted this research is? Thanks.
