Encouragement for Brewster/Allerton Researchers
Posted by: Pam Waddell (ID *****0650) Date: November 06, 2008 at 12:21:48

After much deliberation on my part and as a fairly new member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants (April 2008), I have decided to post my lineage on this site. By doing so, hopefully it will encourage other researchers to persevere & not give up. It took 3 years from start to finish; I still can’t believe that it’s completed, but I have my Mayflower certificate, membership numbers, and I’ve seen my name published in my state’s newsletter as a new member so it has to be true.
As I set out to try to prove my line, my only goal was an attempt to honor all of my ancestors and hopefully to furnish enough proof to dispel the belief that one of my ancestors of this line had not died young, but did live to adulthood, marry, and have children. Having said this, the following is my Mayflower Lineage:

William Brewster- Mary
Fear Brewster-Isaac Allerton
Isaac Allerton- Elizabeth Willoughby
Frances Allerton- Samuel Travers
Elizabeth Travers-John Tarpley
John Tarpley-Ann Griffin
John Tarpley-Elizabeth Smith
Sarah Susan ‘Sallie’ Tarpley-Thomas Westmoreland
Thomas Abernathy Westmoreland-Elizabeth John Morris
Lucy Morris Westmoreland-James Jordan Hightower
Robert E. Lee Hightower-Frances Elizabeth Munn
Sallie Katherine Hightower-Ray Carlos Barnes
Charles Ray Barnes-living
Pam Barnes-living
