Seeking info on James Madison Pilgrim B. 1869 (headstone) 1872 (census). D. 1917 Springhill Cem., Jones Co, MS. Married (1905) Mary Lavada Clark. Found two ancestry. com trees that state James was s/o Bill Pilgrim & Liza Jane Butler (B. c1842). Need info on Bill & Eliza.
I am looking for Abe Thomas Pilgrim B. c1867 MS & Garrett W. Pilgrim B. c 1870 MS. Garrett's head of home 1900 Jones- his mom Eliza J age 69 living with him.
1880 Clarke co, MS- EA Pilgrim Female widow B. c 1842 with sons- EW, AT (I think this is my Abe), JM (I think this could be James madison). All three had ties to Jones Co, MS. The ages fit. We were told Abe had bro named Garrett-I cannot find him except in 1900 & 1910. Looks like he had no children in those censuses.
Looking for place for this EA actually being married- the closest I could find was William Pilgrim 1850 Nesh Co, MS with wife, Eliza & son Ezekial W. This fits with the 1880 reference above & with James Madison's info.
Any info appreciated & needed. Paula in MS
