Trying to confirm parentage of Stephen b.c1842.
He is the father of Stephen William Daniel PILE m 1903 to Kate Eleanor Janet CARDEW.
I origninally thought Stephen William D's father was Stephen Joseph Stent PILE x. 1835 Old Church St Pancras, but it is highly unusual to be christened 7 years before birth and I cant see Joseph and Frederick being mixed up.
Main possibility is that the Stephen J S PILE died young and his parents named a later son Stephen as well.
The STENT portion of the name certainly for the first Stephen is his mother's maiden name, so unlikely to be used by cousins.
Does anyone know anything about any of these PILE's?
