I wish I were as knowledgeable as you suppose! Then perhaps I could be of some help. But the only person I have that could match yours is a Sarah Pile, daughter of Samuel Pile and Nancy Hendrickson, b. 1843, in Shelby Co., IN. She married twice, but neither time to the gentleman you mentioned, at least as far as I know.

A very informative book, if you can locate a copy of it someplace, is "The Pyle/Pile Families of America" by Howard Pyle. Also, Steve Thrasher, who contributes to the forum, knows a lot more than I do. Good luck.
