Hello,
My name is Cheryl and I am doing research on my maternal great grandparents who were born in Avellino and Rome Italy. My great grandfather is Giuseppe LoPilato b 1875, moved to US around 1890-1895 and married my great grandmother Filomena LoPilato. They dropped the Lo shortly after coming here and settled in Lowell, MA in the early 1900's. We have family in MA and California and in the midwest. This is the first time I have found the name Pilato in my research online so I am interested in hearing about how your husband's ancestors arrived here, ship name and date Thanks!
