I saw an advertisement last year that the Jay Middle School (Jay, Maine) was putting on a play, I believe, about the life of Charlotte Pike Bean. Since my married name is Pike and I know the family was from the Livermore, Maine area, I wondered what the play was about and what she did that was so special/significant that a play was written about her. Anyone know?
