Pikes in Lamar County, Texas

I am currently researching the family of my great-grandmother Mollie Flora, born 9 Mar 1861, Atlanta, Fulton, GA; married Thomas Jefferson Thrasher, 24 Mar 1880, Paris, Lamar, TX; died 5 Mar 1906, Quanah, Hardeman, TX and buried at Quanah Memorial Park. No information regarding parentage on her death record.

Fellow Thrasher researchers have indicated her maiden name was "Pike." In searching the death records of Lamar County, I ran across a "Mary Ella Brem," born 17 Feb 1857 in Georgia, father's name "Pike," mother's name "Sarah Gantt." Have seen family trees with Sarah Gantt as having married an "H T Martin," with two daughters "Ella," born c1857, and "Mollie," b. c1861. There is an 1870 census listing in Atlanta as follows:

1870 FULTON CO GA, ATLANTA, WARD 4, 911/911
GANT WARREN, 65, Painter, NC
Victoria, 55, GA
Ella, 13, GA
Mollie, 9, GA

If this is "my" Mollie, I can only guess that Sarah was widowed in 1870, subsequently married a man named Pike, and the children assumed his name. But I have been unable to find any marriage record for Sarah Gantt/Martin to a Pike in Lamar or the surrounding counties (Mary Ella had married in 1876 in Paris).

Does anyone have some Pikes in NE Texas who could be candidates for further research? Any leads would be much appreciated.
