I am working with a group of people working on the Hookers of PCVA. The Pikes and Hookers had several marriages which caused "double" relationships, and yes ,Cherokee heritage is on both sides. The Hookers appear to all be testing "Q" haplo in PCVA - Native AMerican.

One of the first Pike -Hooker marriages in PCVA was in 1808 when Benjamin Pike married Polly Hooker. daughter of Wm Hooker (b c 1755, d c 1855 in PCVA).
