Jacqueline,

This is not much to go on, but I'm researching the connection between Moses Pike of Salisbury, MA who sold 50 acres in Gilmanton, NH to John Elkins of Epping, NH June 20, 1776.

The interesting part is the deed mentions that Moses' property was originally Samuel Elkins' (father of John) who was one of the first proprietors of Gilmanton (1727)

Also noteworthy is that John was married to Hannah Bean, dau of Jeremiah (grand-daughter of John of Exeter), who probably connects to your George Bean.

Let me know if you know George's parents or have come upon any of them (mentioned above) before.
