Angela,
I am doing some research on the family of Ben Pike who was born about 1784 in North Carolina. My research has led me through his son and his grandson, both named Ben Pike. His son was born on June 5, 1826 in Tennessee and his grandson, Benjamin Franklin Pike who was born Sept 1864 in Tennessee.
Benjamin Franklin Pike wrote a letter to Miss Ollie Pike in Adair County, Kentucky at least twice. I would like to find out if any of Ben's descendants might have the letters that Miss Ollie wrote to Ben. I think the second one written might have some pertinent information as to the identity of her grandparents, great-grandparents and possibly beyond.
If you have a lot of Pikes in North Carolina, maybe you know of Ben Pike's line (even though they moved to Tennessee) and can direct me to someone researching this line.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
