Hi. I'm looking on further info on my Pike family. I think it's one of the least that I have ventured very far on.
I go back as far as Wesley Miller Pike, born 2/14/1852 in either McMinn Co., TN or Bledsoe Co., TN. he died 3/4/1912 in Polk Co., TN. He married Samantha K. Williams, born 6/21/1860 in Polk Co., TN and died 5/6/1943 in Polk Co., TN. They married before 1890 probably in Polk Co., TN. They had 4 children: John Asberry, born 9/9/1892, James Preston, born 6/8/1890, Zachary E.D., born 9/5/1895 and E.A., born 1895.
I am then descended from John Asberry Pike, born 9/9/1892 in Polk Co., TN, died 9/11/1940 in Polk Co., TN. He married Lura Melissa "Lissie" Jane Spurling, born 3/30/1894 in Polk Co., TN, died 4/6/1976 in Polk Co., TN. They married on 5/25/1913 in Monroe Co., TN. These are my great grandparents. They had 10 children.
