I have Thomas Leander Pike born abt 1857 in Polk county Missouri he married Minerva Adams of Tennessee,he had a brother named Ransom PIke this family is listed in an article look at this website : http://thelibrry.springfield.missouri.org/lochist/paspres/pikee.html
This article mentions that Ransom was a merchant at March,Missouri. this is too coincidental,Our Greatgrandfather Samueel Francis Pike born July 17 1889 in Missouri,and for some reason moved to the State of Washington since 1920 ,their is a great possibility that Hattie Jane Pike,and Eula Mae Pike are 1st cousins to Samuel Francis Pike of Missouri,descendants of James M. Pike & Polly DeRossett.For some reason they moved to the state of Washington. Hope to hear from you soon. to make the connection and share about our families. According to the article James M. Pike married twice had a total of 22 children Wow!
