Unfortunately the authors didn't trace female lines. The entry for Elizabeth Pigman reads: "Elizabeth, born 1763, married Richard Weaver Barnes 13 May 1779, by the Rev. Joseph Threkeld at Cabin John, Montgomery Co., MD.... Elizabeth died Nov. 19, 1785."
(I think some or all of the following info is inaccurate)
Also states Richard Weaver Barnes died 1781 and lists names of children: Thomas, Richard Weaver, Joseph, Dorus "Nancy" , Elizabeth.
If they married in 1779 & he died 1781 that means they had 5 children in 3 years. None of the children are traced, nor Richard's parentage given.
Polly Kelleher, the author, (born Lilly-Howard Pollard 1908-1992) research Pigman family for 40 years. I'd assume more/better info has been unearthed since then. At least it gives you a starting point, hope it helps.
