First Generation

1. Matthew PIGMAN. Born on 14 Jan 1763 in Hampshire Co., WV. Matthew is the son of Moses Pigman & Amelia Smallwood.

In Sep 1785 when Matthew was 22, he married Ann GILMORE. Born on 11 Apr 1762
in Virgina.

They had the following children:
(2)i.       John Gilmore (1786-1867)

ii.       Amelia 'Emily'. Born in Oct 1788 in Hampshire Co., WV. On 24 Jun 1813 when Amelia 'Emily' was 24, she married William HANKINS, in Coshocton, Co., OH.(This is all the info the Authors listed)

iii.       Moses. Born in Feb 1791 in Hampshire Co., WV.

iv.       Margaret 'Mary'. Born in Nov 1793 in Hampshire Co., WV. On 21 Oct 1826 when Margaret 'Mary' was 32, she married Cornelius SHAW, in Coshocton, Co., OH.

v.       Elizabeth. Born in Jun 1796 in Hampshire Co., WV. On 8 Feb 1818 when Elizabeth was 21, she married Thomas CARR, in Coshocton,
Co., OH.

vi.       Nancy DeKazar. Born on 1 Mar 1801. Nancy DeKazar died in 1876, she was 74.
On 20 Nov 1823 when Nancy DeKazar was 22, she married George PARKER, in
Coshocton, Co., OH. Born on 4 Jun 1797. George died in 1883, he was 85.

vii.       Catherine 'Caty'. Born in Nov 1803.
On 29 Jan 1824 when Catherine 'Caty' was 20, she married Thomas SMITH, in
Coshocton, Co., OH.




Second Generation

2. John Gilmore PIGMAN. Born on 14 Jul 1786 in Hampshire Co., WV. John Gilmore
died in LaHarpe, IL in Sep 1867, he was 81. Buried in James Lot.

On 12 Feb 1818 when John Gilmore was 31, he married Jane THOMPSON, in
Coshocton, Co., OH. Born in 1798. Jane died in LaHarpe, IL in Mar 1878, she
was 80.

They had the following children:
       (3)       i.       Joseph W. (1819-)
              ii.       Sydney. Born on 21 Dec 1820 in Coshocton, Co., OH. Sydney
died in LaHarpe, IL on 19 Sep 1888, she was 67.

On 31 Dec 1838 when Sydney was 18, she married Andrew J. JAMES, in Coshocton,
Co., OH. Born on 15 Sep 1815. Andrew J. died in LaHarpe, IL on 18 Nov 1899, he
was 84.

iii.       Catherine. Born in Jan 1823.

iv.       Rea. Born ca 1825.

v.       Thomas. Born ca 1827.

vi.       John A.. Born in Mar 1834 in Coshocton, Co., OH. John A. married Hester A.. Born in Jun 1838 in Virgina.

vii.       Mary (Nancy). Born in 1836.

(4) viii.       Claudis C. "Charles" (1838-1906)

ix.       Ameila. Born in 1840.




Third Generation

Joseph W. married Mary ?. Born in 1830 in Ohio.

They had the following children:

i.       Virginia. Born in 1850 in Ohio.

ii.       S.G.. Born in 1852 in Missouri.

iii.       Franklin. Born ca 1855 in Iowa.

iv.       Angela. Born in 1862 in Missouri.

v.       Thomas. Born in 1871 in Missouri.

(4) Claudis C. "Charles" PIGMAN. Born in Apr 1838 in Coshocton, Co., OH. Claudis C. "Charles" died on 30 Jul 1906, he was 68. Buried in Hazelwood Cemetery, Grinnell, IA. Occupation: Laborer.

Claudis C. "Charles" married Eleanor. Born in Mar 1843 in Pennsylvania.

They had the following children:

i. Mary. Born on 15 Jan 1862. Mary died on 11 Aug 1870.

ii.       Charles H.. Born in 1867 in Illinois.

iii.       John Gilbert. Born in Jul 1868 in Iowa. John Gilbert died on 12 Dec 1944, he was 76.

iv.       Claudis C.. Born in Mar 1873 in Iowa.

v.       Lester. Born in Jul 1875 in Iowa.

vi.       Lulu. Born in Jul 1875 in Iowa.

vii.       Elmer. Born in Nov 1879 in Iowa. Elmer died on 21 Dec 1933, he was 54.


This is as far as the authors trace this family line & they didn't usually trace the female line.
