Searching for information on family of James Pigg, the father of Amanda Jane Pigg and her sister, Ida Metta Pigg. These Pigg sisters married brothers: Amanda Jane married Samuel Lee Ford and Ida Metta married James Ford. Amanda Jane and Samuel Lee are my great grandparents.
Ida Metta Pigg Ford died July 29, 1927 and is buried in Landis, N.C. She was born in Mecklenburg County, N.C., Dec. 13,1878. She died in Statesville, N.C.
Amanda Jane Pigg Ford was born in Sept. of 1867 in North Carolina. Amanda is buried in the Wilson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Midland, N.C. She and Samuel Lee Ford had 13 children.
