A High Resolution mtDNA Match

Mitochondrial DNA or mtDNA is passed down from mother to daughter generation after generation. A mother passes down mtDNA to her son but the son can't pass down the mtDNA to his children.
My "mother to grandmother" linage can be traced as far back as Sarah unknown, the second wife of Paul Pigg. Paul Pigg was born in King & Queen County, Va and lived in Amelia and Halifax Counties, Va. Paul died in Pittsylvania County in 1767.
I've found a High Resolution mtDNA match in a database with a person who traces her "mother to grandmother" linage to a Jane Wood who was born 1761 in Halifax County, NC. Jane Wood married a Mr Stone and moved to Sevier County, Ky.
Sarah unknown and Jane Stone are closely related. Sarah and Jane are two pieces of a puzzle. Someday we will find more pieces of the puzzle and determine the parents of Sarah unknown and Jane Wood.
I've found several Low Resolution Matches but the connections could go back to some Celtic or Druid ancestor thousands of years ago.
