Hello, My late grandfather was related (first cousin) to Pigeon's. They arrived in Newfoundland via St.Pierre/Micheqelon sometime in the late 1800's. I understand they came from St.Malo France but it could be possible that St. Malo was just the point of exit and not exactly where they came from and I also have been told that the three sailors, Victor Pigeon, Paul Pigeon and my grandfather Joseph Michel (Mitchell) were stowaways!
