Hello Gytis,

My Grandfather Ignas had a brother Jonas (John) along with many other relatives in Lithuania. Based upon your age I would have to assume that my grandfather's brother Jonas would have to be your great grandfather. If your father was named Jonas after his father this would make sense. I was named after my grandfathers's brother in Lithuania and have not been called Jonas since my grandfather died in 1968. If you check the posts in this forum you can follow the lineage of our side of the family and we did come from the same village as your father. I think there is an excellent chance we are cousins and I would be anxious to see if your fathers relatives match up with ours. Good luck and it is always nice to hear from another Pigaga since there are so few of us.
