Thank you Andrea for your post on Dr. Matthias Pierson. In doing more research I have learned my Matthias Person(g) and his wife Hester Freeman are both found in LDS Film #959655 Liber R page 480-482 of Knowlton Township, Warren County New Jersey land records. This record lists Mathias Persong his wife Esther, Margret Persong, Mary Persong, Catherine Persong, Ann Persong and Andrew Jr along with Andrew Persong Sr. In this it states that "Andrew Persong Sr is the father of us all."
In another land record for this family the name Persong is listed as the German spelling per a note in the record. Hester and Esther are interchanged through out other records I have on these folks. Both Mathias & Hester later died in Cherry Twp, Sullivan County PA.
So the new puzzle is who were the parents of Andrew Persong Sr. and who was his wife. Andrew Sr. had died by 2 April 1805.
