Is anyone related to the PIERSON families from Cohasset, MASS. who were from the islands of the Azores? There was a Frank PIERSON/PEARCEY listed in the 1860-1880 census's for that town. Also, I believe his brother, Joseph PIERSON also lived there. He was not in a census that I could find but I believe he had died by 1870 leaving a wife, Angelica and two children, Mary and John. I think that they may be connected to the JOSEPH family and the SYLVIA/SYLVA/SILVA families also from the same area. They were all Mariner/Fishermen.
