Clarence Pearsall edited a three volume work in 1928entitled "History and Genealogy of the Pearsall Family in England and America."These volumes have been reprinted by the Higginson Book Publishing Company. In volume three, on page 1447, George Wesley Peirsol, born November 25, 1839, is listed as a child of John Peirsol and Naomi Mace. They were married May 26, 1825, and resided in Beaver County.John was born February 13, 1801, and died June 5, 1875.John's father was Jacob Peirsol.Naomi's father was Jacob Mace and her mother was Elizabeth Heath.
Naomi was born July 24, 1801 and died February 27, 1883.
George Wesley was one of ten children in this family.
There is a ton of information in this volume. If the Peirsol family tree is central to your genealogy research, then the cost, approximately $70 - $80, is worth every penny and then some. You will have to decide for yourself whether to accept his listings with only occasional references to sources.
In hunting for a particular Piersol ancestor, be prepared to search through the index under every conceivable spelling variation of the surname Piersol. There are variations even within siblings of the same family.
