Phebe was born 1790, married in 1811, not born in 1811.

This is what I have on John Pearsall of Virginia:

Issued a Land Grant 26 June 1788 for 1/2 acre lot in the tpn of Romney on the south side of the Commons, lot 61.
1782 Tax Rolls John Piersall Hampshire Co. 3 whites 5 blacks
1784 Tax Rolls John Piersall Hampshire Co. 4 whites
1810 census John Piersall Hampshire Co. page 820
1830 census John Pearsall Ohio Co. page 276
This area, Romney, is now in West Virginia.
There was a Job Pearsall, who built Pearsall's Fort on the Potomac, supposedly at George Washington's request, during the French and Indian War.

Regards,
Marie Blocher
