Dear Bruce:
In regards to your query, I have the family history of the Pearsalls giving Benjamin Pierceall as son of Job Pearsall.
Benjamin resided in Hampshire County, Virginia, and Washington County, Pennsylvania. He married Rebecca Babb, dau. of Jacob Babb.Four children listed.Benjamin's story indicates that he was killed and scalped by indians (Pennnsylvania Archives, Vol. 4, page 540.Pioneer Forts of Pennsylvania, page 427).
In case you do not have the Pearsall genealogy, they were originally published in 1928 by Clarence Pearsall, and re-printed by the Higginson Book co.There are 3 big volumes, each about $85.
I am a descendant of Edward Pearsall who married Dorothy Davis (m: Jan. 5, 1717, Christ Church, Philadelphia). They were of Radnor and Nantmeal Townships, Chester County, Pennsylvania.Edward was son of Jeremiah Pearsall. After the death of Edward, Sr., Dorothy and son Edward emigrated to the Welsh Tract, northeast branch of the Cape Fear River of North Carolina from which came a large family of North Carolina Pearsalls.
If you do not have the family history as mentioned above, and you have a fax machine, I will fax the chapters on Job and Benjamin to you.It is very interesting reading.
Regards,
Evelyn
