Dollard and I discovered each other on this family tree site. He and my husband are third cousins. Walter Pierre was my husband Michael Pierre's great-uncle. He was the brother of Michael's grandfather Frederick Pierre of Montana and then Northern California. Walter was at one time an editor at the Detroit Free Press. He was married to Katie. Walter and Frederick's father was Joseph Alferi Pierre, born in Hull, Quebec, Canada. Sound like any relation?
