Thank you very much. Petit Jean could have come from anywhere in France. You're right. Thats all I have though. All people in the 1800's were short compared to now. Except my Pierre relatives, who are still 5'5". I am 5'9" from my scottish and spanish ancestry, I guess. Thanks again, Stutzmann. Oh, yes I was born in 1940. My son who was born in 1971 is 6'1" and my daughter born in 1973 is 5'10". People are getting taller. Except my Pierre relatives.
