We Pierres are proud New Orleans natives, we come from St. Bernard Parish and a small Creole town called Fazaunville, presently Kaiser Aluminum Refinery stands in its place, the town is similar to Rosewood in Florida, Native Americans forced from the land, we are Indian(Blackfoot), French from Acadians(Nova Scotia)(Father) and African -American(Mother). The slavery in this country allowed such history, I and my family to remain loyal to France. New Orleans is not like any city in America, we still have the option of remaining French and I so choose, speak, write learn the culture and my kids will do the same...keep the people and the city French forever.
