Hi Charlotte
Richard Charles Piercy was born in 1850 in Cowley Middlesex
and died in 1884.The cemetery where he was buried has been spelt as both Plastow and Plaistow in London. I believe there is (was) also a cemetery in SE London with a similar name and that it is possibly this one rather than the West Ham cemetery. We think Richard had two brothers, William and George of whom we know nothing.
Our Piercy connections seem to be from Cowley and Harrow. Although my grandfather was born just off the Old Kent Road in London.
Richard Charles Piercy's father appears to be Richard Curtis Piercy.

I don't know if any of this helps, but you have try every possible lead...... Good luck. Thanks for contacting me.
